In August 2024, The Rose Garden Restaurant in Union City proudly celebrates its 47th anniversary. Since 1977, we have served authentic Chinese cuisine to the Tri-City area, earning the distinction of being called a Union City landmark.
As a legacy restaurant, we are honored to continue sharing our passion for great food and warm hospitality with the community we love. Join us in celebrating nearly five decades of tradition and taste.

It is with heavy heart that we, the Wong Family, announce our retirement and the closure of The Rose Garden Restaurant. Our last day of service was Sunday, August 31, 2025. For 48 years, we have had the immense pleasure of serving this community.
However, with our lease concluding we have made the decision that it is the right time to close this chapter.
We are profoundly grateful for your loyal patronage over the years. Your support has meant the world to us, and we will cherish the memories we have shared with all of you.
